What is Extra Time?

Extra Time is a free daily football game hub. The flagship is a tile Wordle built on a five-letter football word list — football terms, real footballer surnames and club names — and eight more games run beside it: Football Tenable, Top 10, Bingo, Connections, Grid, Impostor, Link, Pyramid and Goltexto. Every puzzle rotates at midnight UTC, no account is needed, and your streak across all the games is kept in your own browser.

Today’s puzzle strip

Puzzle #634 is live across all nine games, dated 2026-09-26 in UTC. The same boards drop for every player at the same moment, so a shared result is comparable.

Extra Time questions

What is Extra Time?

Extra Time is a free daily football word game. The flagship is a tile Wordle: one five-letter football word, six guesses, and tiles that turn green for the right letter in the right place, yellow for a right letter in the wrong place, and grey for a letter that is not in the word. Eight more football games run alongside it on the same daily rotation.

How many games are there?

Nine: the tile Wordle, Football Tenable, Top 10, Football Bingo, Football Connections, Football Grid, Football Impostor, Football Link, Football Pyramid and Goltexto. Each one takes a minute or two and gives you a result you can share.

Are the games free?

Yes. Every game is free, needs no account, and the same puzzle is available to everyone. Your streak and stats are stored in your browser only, so nothing you play is sent to us.

When is the new puzzle?

Every day at midnight UTC. Every player is on the same puzzle number at the same time in every timezone, across all nine games.

Where do the words and clues come from?

From our own football database of players and clubs, assembled from open football data, plus a curated five-letter football word list. It is why a clue and its answer always agree.
